Why Laser Teeth Whitening Is So Popular
Teeth whitening increases in popularity and heres some reasons why!
If you are interested in teeth whitening, you could have different results and methods. A bleaching agent works best with a laser, which not only catalyzes it, but penetrates the tooth enamel, and it is this combo of agent and laser that make up today’s major whitening systems that dentists use for teeth whitening procedures. After just an office visit, with laser and bleaching put together, you might be able to join the rest of the patients who have tuned into the fact that this combo works best for teeth whitening. This article will provide you with contacts to get your laser teeth whitening, and it will give you more information on how the process of laser whitening works.
Over the counter whitening products have become a popular choice for home bleaching today. However, these systems must be used over a period of weeks or months to achieve desired results and the results may not be as dramatic as you are hoping for. Some home products cannot address deep staining well enough either.
If you would like to learn professional teeth whitening check us out UK Dental Care, or look for practisioners who are known for cosmetic dentistry. These specialists will often have the most experience in whitening procedures and will usually be able to provide the most advanced technology for this purpose. If you need a cosmetic specialist to guide you, then ask your family dentist for recommendations, or ask for help from family and friends who have received similar treatments.
Plaque deposits in your gum line and teeth can interfere with whitening systems, so the first step is removal of these by your dentist when you first arrive for your whitening appointment. The gel can work well only when it has penetrated the tooth surface, and this can occur once laser light is directed onto it after all the gel has been applied to the teeth. It takes only about an hour for this whitening procedure to be completed. Some patients will not even need more whitening sessions with their dentist after this.
It can take a long while and more than one session to take out severe staining, so dentist teeth whitening will often not be done in one session. You may also be given the options of getting a touch-up kit, which your dentist, usually a laser dentistry practitioner, can provide. These kits will allow patients to touch up areas that become stained again at home. If you think that you need touch ups constantly at your dentist, then you may be able to get the option of lifetime treatment, which allows you more visits for more cleaning. With little cost and time involved, these options can allow you to maintain the whitest smile.
Teeth whitening has changed quite a lot since the treatment was first introduced. Today’s whitening procedures take very little time to complete and provide dramatic results that most patients are very satisfied with. Many offices even offer financing options to make the procedures more affordable. If you would like your smile to be whiter, then talk to a specialist in whitening systems for more information.

My journey – I finally start my training
I finally start my teeth whitening course
So UK Dental Care sent a trainer to my house to begin my training. I was a bit nervous about this as I didn’t really know if my house would be the right place to conduct the training. Getting 1-2-1 training was important to me for two reasons. Firstly, I had a part time job at the time and it meant that I wouldn’t have to take time off work (the training was booked for the evenings). Secondly and possibly more importantly I was looking for more than just sitting in a classroom environment. I had questions which had to be answered about the process of teeth whitening and regarding the business of teeth whitening which I wanted to quiz my trainer regarding. 1-2-1 training was my opportunity to speak and learn from someone in the industry.
My trainer’s name was Rob. Rob arrived with his full set of machinery which was mobile. He assured me that we would be able to carry out the training at my house without any problems. The training was intense. I was initially intimidated by some of powerful machinery that Rob had brought with him. He had brought a laser machine which helped with the whitening process. My first attempt at using the machine was a disaster. I was very nervous and still remember shaking throughout the whole procedure. With practice however I quickly got more and more confident. Over the course of the next two evenings I learnt the processes and theory of teeth whitening. After practicing I also tried the process on friends and family while being supervised by Rob. I could now see myself as being a teeth whitening technician. Things couldn’t have been any better. I also asked Rob a lot to do with starting my own clinic and he was helpful enough to talk me through some important things to be aware of in terms of marketing my business and also regulation. I still call Rob to this day if I have any questions that I can’t answer, and I’d like to think that we’ve become good friends.
Once the training was complete I got to work. I still had some big jobs to complete before I could open my clinic. I had to decide what tools I would purchase for my teeth whitening clinic and where I would purchase them from. Rob had given me some good guidance on what would be essential and what I could really put on hold. He had also given me the names of some manufacturers. I organised sometime over the coming week to speak to some manufacturers over the phone to see what they could offer me in terms of deals. Rob had told me that the manufacturers would be quite receptive to this tactic. He told me that the main thing they would be concerned with would be me purchasing ongoing consumables from them so calling them could result in some large saving. He wasn’t wrong. I saved over £500 by doing this which was fantastic.
The second job that was left for me to do was decide on exactly where my clinic would be situated. I am from Doncaster. Not the biggest town in the UK I know, but Rob had assured me that was enough demand for teeth whitening in the UK no matter where you were situated. The main things for me to take into account were the clinic should have good transport links. So ideally be close to some busy bus routes or train station. Having cheap or free parking available close buy was also something that I felt customers would appreciate. I decided to look in the town centre and after visiting some local estate agents I managed to put together a list of possibilities that met my criteria.
I think that enough for now. Read my next article where I will be finally opening my clinic.

My journey into opening my own teeth whitening clinic (Part 1)
My personal journey into a career in teeth whitening
Hi my name is Denise Platt and I going to give you a full account of my experience of learning and then opening my very own teeth whitening clinic. Ok, so three years ago I had finished university and was generally confused. After spending the last 3 years studying accountancy, I had come to the conclusion the I really didn’t want to spend my whole life looking at numbers. I wanted control. Control over time and the incentive of knowing the harder I worked the more I would be rewarded. I had flirted with the idea of starting my own business in the past and it was looking like it was the answer to my prayers at this point. The only question was, what would I be doing? I had come across an article the went through a new industry in the health and beauty market. Teeth whitening was apparently an up and coming treatment that would be growing if America was anything to go by. The thing that really appealed to me was that Teeth whitening would be something that both men and women would be interested in. Meaning that finding customer may be easier, then traditional beauty services (I hoped).
Learning Teeth Whitening
S
o the first step was to learn how to perform teeth whitening. I started by googling and spending a lot of time on forums. I was pleased to find out that I didn’t need a background in Beauty treatments to start a career in Teeth whitening. Choosing the right teeth whitening course provider was still very important, as I would need the right advice in starting my clinic. I eventually settled on taking teeth whitening training with UK Dental Care. The main reasons for choosing them were as follows.
- They offered to train me at a location near my home. I actually live in a remote part of the UK and taking a course in London would have meant hotel hire, and generally I was much more comfortable with this set up.
- Excellent reputation. From viewing feedback from those that had already taken a course with UK Dental Care, the vast majority of participants were incredibly positive regarding their experience which was not the case for most other course providers.
- Ongoing support. The help provided by UK Dental Care didn’t stop as soon as the initial course finished. They offered a contact with an existing teeth whitener that I could contact and guide me through any problems I encountered. This was a real deal breaker for me. As I was entering the industry with a limited amount of knowledge, I really saw the benefit of this added service.
I called UK Dental and organised for one of their trainers to visit me to begin training. This was it. I was exited to be finally learning something that would help me build me career.
Follow my journey. My next post will be covering my experience in training and taking my first steps in opening my clinic.

6 Easy tips on getting whiter teeth
Our quick tips on getting white teeth
One of the most asked questions received by anyone in the teeth whitening industry is how to get naturally whiter teeth. Why are teeth so important to us? Recent studies have revealed that teeth colour is one of the top 5 qualities we look for in our partners to be. So without further a do here is our list of 6 tips to naturally whiten your teeth.
Get yourself a new toothbrush (regularly)
Getting a new toothbrush can make a big difference to your teeth. An old tooth brush can really lose its ability to remove plaque and stains from your teeth. So change that brush.
Don’t forget to clean that tongue
Believe it or not keeping a clean tongue can stop the discoloring of your teeth. Experts explain that the bacteria that can accumulate on the tongue can also be responsible for discoloring ones teeth.
Eat plenty of raw fruits and salads
Eating raw foods can actually clean your teeth while you eat. Crunchy foods can help to remove dirt and plaque by rubbing against the teeth. They are also good for your health.
Rinse your mouth after eating citrus fruits
Citrus fruits like oranges and lemons are a great source of vitamins. The acid also erodes the enamel which means your teeth are likely to discolour without the protection.
Don’t eat dark coloured foods
This is quite well known piece of trivia. The pigmentation in dark coloured foods will attach itself to the teeth and begin to stain.
Stay away from drinks with a high sugar content
Drinks with a high sugar content, of which energy drinks are a usual suspect. This really is due to the same reasoning as citrus foods. The acid they contain will slowly erode the enamel.
We hope that helped you can check out our home page for the latest teeth whitening courses http://ift.tt/1WYhWHs
