As Congress finalizes appropriations for fiscal year 2017, the ADA and more than 50 organizations led by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids are asking Congress to reject two policy riders that would weaken the Food and Drug Administration's authority to oversee tobacco products and urging legislators to oppose proposed cuts to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Office on Smoking and Health.
